Where a locally keyed record has sufficient description to identify it as the same edition as a full record it is permissible to 'merge'. These local brief non-MARC records may be keyed by Peel or Rockingham City (or CRC) staff.
When merging make sure the attached items have item call numbers. Please keep any summary and/or valid subjects in the merged record.
This does not include AOL brief records (similarly order records and Collection Manager brief records) which can not be merged as duplicates
