Repeated 300 field in bib. records

For multi volume works where publishers change.
For some years now MARC coding has permitted repeated publication fields for records and an example below shows how they can be used in such cases:

Note that the volume details are in a subfield 3... and also that separate series fields can be inserted with subfield 3 specifiying volume details.

We may want to use this new specificity retrospectively to fix messy situations that may be brought to our attention.
