Improved offsite access to electronic titles

Electronic titles available via the Library’s licensed resources portal can now be accessed offsite via the relevant catalogue record.
• An icon has been added to the end of the URL link found in the full catalogue record to indicate if offsite access is available.
• If you are in the reading room click on the URL link in the full record display, and you will pass directly to the title.
• If you are offsite click on the URL link, and you will be presented with a login screen with the message: “To access XXXX, log in with your National Library card details”. After entering your user ID and name, you will pass directly to the title.
• You will only be asked to login once per session, i.e. after you have logged in you will be able to access any titles permitted for remote access without being prompted to login for each one.
Please note, due to licence restrictions some electronic resources are only available onsite.
